Welcome to the Southern Flatcoated Retriever Club!
All of the Committee and its members are here to enjoy their Flatcoats to the full, whether they are loving pets, working dogs or show dogs. We offer activities and events to help you understand your Flatcoated Retriever and hopefully have the knowledge available when you need it.
Enjoy the site and if you have any recommendations or ideas do let us know!

The Southern Flatcoated Retriever Club entered the AV Southern Inter Club Gundog Team Competition.
We arrived to a wonderful, friendly atmosphere, bacon rolls and a generous goody bag for every competitor - which contained one of the new acme whistles.
15 teams competing and 5 tests to complete with each member of the team given a different retrieve for their capability.
The organisation was excellent, keeping our groups moving around the course by our stewards with plenty of humorous banter and camaraderie.
Our team worked so well together and their dogs gave their all on some challenging tests.
After the tests were finished everyone relaxed and was treated to hog roast, strawberries and cream and a glass of pimms.
Thank you to our hosts for an exceptionally, well run, friendly, competitive day with wonderful helpers, encouraging judges, dummy throwers and land owners.
Thank you to our amazing Southern Flatcoated Retriever Team
